With so much going on in China, and only a limited amount of bandwidth, I have created this weekly post to highlight articles that I feel are (1) important, (2) relevant, and (3) interesting.

This week there are 3 articles that I have chosen to highlight as each are quite interesting, they are all relevant, and there are issues within each that I think you the reader should be aware of.

If you have an article that you feel needs to be mentioned, please do so in the comments section.

GE to launch 5 regional headquarters in China
for anyone still wondering if China has become too expensive, I think this story shows just how much potential one of the world’s largest conglomerates see in China.  5 regional HQs in China.

First Impressions of China
Typically I stay away from first impressions of China pieces as they are (1) numerous in number and (2) typically cover the same topic.  However, this piece written by Richard Stuebi of Cleantech Blog I found to be an exception to the norm in that does not follow the traditional “wow.. look at all the shiney buildings”, but took a balanced look at some issues, some solutions, and some hurdles.

Sex & The City – Beijing
A bit off the traditional business path, this is an interesting clip about a piece of China’s cities, and how they are developing.
