The New Holidays in China… Holiday Lite
Wednesday, December 19, 2007 17:12Posted in category Uncategorized
The last 6 years in China have provided me with a guaranteed 3 weeks of reprieve, and to be honest… I would not have survived without them. while I rarely stopped working, or left the city, the fact is that those weeks were bliss. Traffic was off, the phones stopped ringing, and with the employees unshackled, I was free to kick back and get some work done.
Well.. we all know that all good things come to an end, and as such I present the new schedule… pardon me while I go cry.

The changes are definitely going to mean that I travel less but it’ll be much more fun when I do travel as hopefully there will be less people. It’s going to be easier for me to get work done with partners in February, May and October instead of moving meetings to the months on either side as I do now.

Hey John,
I always have said that it is amazing what china can get done with only 10.5 months. Not sure the new schedule will provide you with fewer tourists to dodge when you travel, but it will even out the business cycles for sure.
Hope all is well
