GFW Down?

I am not sure if anyone else notcied, but last night at about 1am I received about 500 messages thorugh my RSS reader that had previously been cut off in the run up to the games.

A check of Anonymouse, Facebook, and a few other sites I have known to be blocked have all yielded quick access.

Anyone else notice the change?

UPDATE – appears to be short lived… most of the sites are now back to Olympic speed.

Both comments and pings are currently closed.

Nope, the Internet still mostly sucks here in Shanghai. Major annoyances are the feedburner (feeds.*.com/~r/*) and *.wordpress.com blockages… On a positive note, older photos on flickr seem to be unblocked again.

6 months ago I put all my feedburner links thourhg anonymouse, and that worked until 6 weeks ago when the GFW was jacked up. Today, it is back!

my suggestion is that you go to any site you are looking to add through feedburner via anonymouse, and then add the feed. it will work that way.

The low bandwidth server has been blocked and unblocked again. P4C is working.
