Somethings Can Only Be Asked in China (Asia?)
Monday, June 17, 2013 1:18There are times where even I shake my head at the ridiculous requirements that people get away with here. Of course, there is the open discussion of age, marriage, and family plans that are apart of interviews… and when submitting a CV, it is not uncommon to see pictures of the applicant to be included, with perhaps details on height, weight, sex, etc.
But the below requirements (that were sent to me) for applications were a bit much for me.
18-25 years of age, minimum height 167 cm, beautiful spirit /outgoing / friendly, never married, single, never given birth, interested in issue X.
Without a doubt, had this been asked in the US, the organization with said requirements would have been blasted.
But here, it is apparently something that can be advertised publicly.
